Low score: Cash Cameron was at 22 strokes[+2] after 6 holes!
The Varsity Mustangs and Male's first two groups completed their rounds just before the course was cleared of players due to lightning in the vicinity. This match was declared official upon agreement of the coaches that no score from the third group on the 9th tee would affect the outcome. MUSTANGS WIN!
A very nice round turned in by Senior Austin Love, who got off to a great start by birdieing each of the first two holes. Well played, Austin! All of the Mustangs' top 4 broke 40 strokes for the round - good job!
The JV match had to be declared a no-contest due to the expected delay in returning the players to their positions on the course after waiting the KHSAA-mandated 30 minutes after the last visible lightning strike.
The JV Mustangs will unofficially record a victory, as we were 15 strokes ahead on the scorecards after all players completed 5 holes of play. Freshman Cash Cameron had the best round going of the competitors, he was [+2] after six holes of play. Good job, Cash!
